Unsync is a privacy-first, peer-to-peer encrypted messenger. We do not collect, store, or sell your personal data.
Messages travel directly between devices using peer-to-peer connections encrypted with the Signal Protocol. Our coordination server only facilitates the initial connection handshake - it never reads, stores, or logs your messages.
Unsync uses Google Firebase Cloud Messaging solely to wake your device when you receive an incoming call while the app is not running. No message content is transmitted through FCM.
Messages are stored locally on your device only, protected by your device security and optional biometric lock.
Unsync does not share any data with third parties. We do not use analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools.
